Stories for Caregivers is looking for bold, creative ideas that explore the realities, joys, and challenges of unpaid family caregiving in Canada.
If your short-form web series concept aligns with our mission, this could be the platform—and the opportunity—you’ve been waiting for.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome proposals for short-form web series that:
- Speak to Canadian caregiver audiences
- Contain a minimum of 8 episodes (3–6 minutes each)
- Are produced in Canada and meet CAVCO content requirements
- Are either scripted or unscripted (e.g., drama, doc, comedy, lifestyle)
- Have broad appeal and potential to engage audiences nationwide

Why This Matters for Funding
Securing a platform support from Stories for Caregivers helps unlock access to financing—especially from TELUS Fund, which offers:
- Up to $25,000 in development funding (for a pilot episode)
- Up to $150,000 in production funding (for a 7 episode series)
While platform support is a requirement of many financing programs in Canada, Stories for Caregivers has a unique partnership with TELUS Fund, whereby TELUS Fund provides exclusive funding opportunities to eligible projects destined for the Stories for Caregivers platform.
