Hawaii, known for its beautiful beaches and idyllic lifestyle, faces the unique challenge of having an extremely high cost of living. This has created problems for family caregivers. Most households require two incomes to cover costs and elder care can be up to 50% more expensive than other states. A part of the solution is the Kapuna Care Act, a first of its kind in America.
