Though we most often think of caregivers as younger than those they look after, at KIKÉKYELC Indigenous Elders are caring for youth with amazing results. This culturally safe, fully supported housing development homes Indigenous youth and Indigenous Elders under one roof. The facility provides a safe space to Indigenous youth who have aged out of the foster care system along with mentorship from Indigenous Elders to develop the skills youth need to live independently.
