Cynthia has chosen to become an advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls after living through that experience with her own family. By participating in a medicine picking ceremony and visiting an ancient Indigenous medicine wheel with Elder Cheryle Chagnon-Greyeyes, Cynthia experiences the power of ceremony and ritual to help heal from the emotional wounds of caregiving.
