Psychologist Christine Knight shares why it’s important to take care of our physical well being while caring for others. “When I take care of myself, I’m taking care of you”

It’s common for caregivers to report feeling tired, exhausted, sad, and isolated. The illness of their loved one bounces back into the caregiver world and up to 25-35% of caregivers develop a mental or physical illness, as a result, of caregiving stress. Christine shares useful information to help us understand better the importance of finding balance between personal demands and the caregiver role and provides us with different coping tools that caregivers can incorporate to their everyday life and hopefully this will help them improve their well-being.
